If you smell gas

1. Immediately put out smoking materials and other open flames.
   
   
2. If possible, shut off all gas appliances and close all gas tank or cylinder supply valves.  Tank and cylinder valves turn off in the clockwise direction.
   
   
3. Do not turn lights on or off.
   
   
4. Do not use any type of phone.
   
   
5. Ventilate the area by opening windows and doors.
   
   
6. Get everyone out, and leave the area at once.
   
   
7. From another safe location such as a neighbor’s home, call your local fire department and propane professional.
